I have an extra ticket to the Saturday (tomorrow, 10/8/05) Dead Can Dance show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The person I was going with has dropped out, so if anyone is interested, let me know.

The ticket is $78 (thanks Ticketmaster!) and the seat is next to mine. Orchestra, VV 501, isle seating. Pretty darn good seats considering I got them on eBay a few weeks ago at face value from a non-scalper.

Oh, and why aren't I asking on a DCD forum? Well, I'd rather go with someone I may slightly know. I only know one person who's even heard of DCD and they just canceled on me. Any takers?

You might want to jump on IRC and ask Heather. She's in NYC.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever seen DCD live before? If not, you're in for a treat.

No, I've never seen them. That's why I was happy to pay $80 for a seat and thrilled that I found good seats on eBay at face value two weeks before the show. If only I didn't have to buy the pair and not have someone to go with...

I've been listening to the DCD discography for about 7 years now, so this will be quite an experience to see them live.

Yeah, and I'd love to go, but I have U2 tickets for tonight. Had I known about DCD, I would have got the U2 tickets for another night.

Wow, pass up U2 tickets for DCD? That's love. Sorry I didn't offer sooner.

The show was amazing. Plenty of trusty old favorite songs, some more obscure ones, some nobody had heard before; some accompanied by full orchestra. Excelent.
