For Sale Empeg stuff in the U.S.

I am interested in selling the following items.
1. One of my Empeg MK 2's. (Probably the 10 gig one)
2. One PCats Tuner (assembled-was working when pulled from the 4-Runner a couple of months ago)
3. One sled with wiring (never installed) and one sled (was installed by Car Toys (yech!) in the afore mentioned 4Runner)
4. One ML Dock.
5. One Soft Empeg branded carrying bag (Black), good condition.
Please PM me with your best offer. I can send Serial Number and pictures if interested.

MkII has the knob, but is branded empeg. MkIIa also has the knob, but is branded Rio. There are other real differences, but that's the most obvious.

Yes Rob, they are both branded Rio. In fact I just picked up one not too long ago from a member here. My third unit is sitting on my desk, in peices,a product of inept repair, the fourth has beenin the hands from Rob S. for a year now...I told him to take his time, and it is a rather tough repair job. I pesonally think it is toast.

Personally, I think the picture is hilarious. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt: Just because it's a photograph of a person who has become an icon for everything evil in this world doesn't necessarily mean that YOU are evil or that you agree with his philosophy. It's no different than South Park showing cartoons about Satan and Saddam Hussein.
Just keep in mind that this BBS is a close-knit group and that we've had previous bad experiences with certain specific antisocial members. So we're a little bit twitchy about that kind of thing.

I think it’s a good picture of him (Tim Conway, right). Most of the pictures I've seen of him make him look like a preschool teacher, all sweetness and nice.
I did like the posts of the other antisocial, too bad he went too far.

Hitler doesn't offend me. Photos of him don't offend me. People talking about him doesn't offend me. Jokes involving Hitler don't offend me. Why should it offend me? Can you explain to me why I should be offended? I don't think you mean 'offended' though. People get too upset about such little things. If he was born 5 thousand years ago you'd not be bothered.
Someone who is Jewish and maybe lost a relative as a direct result of Hitler I can understand why they may be offended. Thats fine.
Perhaps funny was the wrong word. He may be a jackass but he's done nothing to annoy me and when I first saw the avatar I was thinking it was some ironic statement. If he came on here though and started to spout evil then that would be different.
There was an episode of Father Ted aired that featured Ted with a Hitler moustache making gestures to Asian villagers. It also featured swastikas and other such stuff. Pic of Ted is here. Now would that offend you? If so I think you're too thin-skinned.
