I've decided to use one of my players (mk2) to use as sort of a music server from a laptop. Right now I'm using Hijack playlist but considered using the XML web interface to make it look nicer & perhaps easier to use by others. Here's lies my problem the page appears in IE but no images will show up just the 'x' boxes. Is there a permission to set for the images, if so what should they be? Tthey are I think where they're suppose to be, in the images folder. I used WS_FTP32 E to ftp the files to the player using binary setting is this right?
I'm using dev 2.0 w/Hijack v462.
Here's my config.ini:

Where did you upload the files to (what path on your hard drive) and what URL are you using to try to view the interface? It sounds like your images didn't make it up to your player or they are not in the right path.

Also, you could try Empeg Web Lite.

Using WS_FTP I uploaded into the "empeg" dir and all the files & folders went in the same way they were arranged in the original file. So it was like this dir:empeg/drive0/opt/khttpd/charcoalgray99/"etc."

If I try Empeg Web Lite I get this page

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The system cannot locate the object specified.

which is what I get w/the charcoalgray99 interface.

Actually here's what I get from the charcoalgray99 interface:

I might have found what was wrong, when transfering the files WS_FTP isn't transfering the entire file so I have to do each one individually to make sure the complete files are transfered. I don't know why. Is there optimal settings for WS_FTP when connected to the empeg?

Well apparently that was the problem the file transfers were not happening the names were all there but filesizes were not.

Kudos to Empeg Web Lite. It's the best of both worlds and I use it constantly (along with emplode when I need to do searches).

I like it, nice job. I also like Tony's empegFace very cool. Although late in the game of using these, the bugs seem to be worked out already by the time I got to them.
Now if I could get WS_FTP to transfer files better, strange the files seem to transfer very rapidly but aren't always transfering all the file. I have to transfer them several times to get the right filesizes, check the result (look at webpage to see the missing elements) then go back and try again.
