Just noticed today that 2 of the serial connector cables have pulled out of the docking connector on my empeg. Anyone got any good tips on how to get the pins out so that I can solder them up? I think I'm a bit late to ask the empeg guys to bring a replacement to the meet tomorrow, but I'm sure it's not hard to fix. Thanks Derek

Unscrew the connector from the sled and insert a long pin in the gap under the contact on the plug (non-wired) side to release the catch on the underside. You should then be able to gently pull out the contact with tweezers or fine pliers. Be careful not to damage the spring part of the contact - they are easily bent out of shape.
