Ok cool, then I'm either going to live with searching for the first closing curlybrace it finds (thus sometimes getting fewer lines than I want), or I'm going to run a second git blame command if the first one comes out blank.

Okay, I've got the automation working, with the necessary regex's, all is well with that side of it.

Now I have a problem with Git. I'll start a separate thread about that one.
