Sad news. When I ordered my 60GB car player on Saturday, they were listed as "in stock." I called today to get the status on the order, and was told that the order was cancelled because the order could not be filled. Of course, I was never informed of this. I was also told that are all the car players are gone.

So, it's looks like I am screwed.

I'm very surprised that someone didn't just buy all the 10GB stock in one shot on the first or second day. It was a pretty safe bet. The 60GB model was also a very safe bet. The 30GB not as good a deal, so it doesn't surprise me it lasted the longest.

In any case, there should be plenty available in the aftermarket for a while.
