First, please start up this discussion in the "Installation Notes" forum, where it belongs.

Second, when you do, please include some pictures of the current dash/console if possible so we can help give you advice.

Finally, I think I may have mentioned this to you before (your handle rings a bell), but I was easily able to install the player into the factory slot in my friend's Dodge (shown here). You sure you need a custom console?

I Will move it, Didnt even think to put it there, and to answer your other question, yes, the console is not for my empeg, it is in the stock dash slot. Im goin to use it for a scanner, some guages, a TV and a few other little gadgets.

Ah, I see. Cool, then. Go make a new post in Installation Notes. Doesn't matter if the console isn't for an Empeg, I think it's still a useful discussion to have in Installation Notes.
