This may be a stupid question, but how do you toggle the clock display in info mode (not visual clock). My clock is not on the screen. I generally think of myself as a moron, but I can't find it.

Press the 1 button on the remote control to select the timecode format.

Also, you can set this from the player's main menu. It is under "settings/timecode".

I have done this before. It changes the format of the song time. I want the clock. I have no clock on the screen in any of the info modes (clock visuals work fine).

Are you, by any chance, an owner of a Mark 1?

The Mark1 does not have a clock.

no, I only have 2.0 on my MKII.

EDIT: Here is a pic of 2.0 with no clock. I'm not crazy.

That's strange.

When you press the 1 button on the Rio Remote, it should cycle through all the clock modes. Most of them are related to the song time, true, but one of them (called "clock") is the time of day. You should be able to get that.

You should also be able to go to the player's menu and select Settings/Timecode/Clock and get it that way.

So what happens when you try to do those things?

OK, i see what you are saying. I get a clock when I go through like that. The reason I didn't think it was the clock (even though the mode is called clock) is that it is not in AM/PM format and when you pause the player, the time stops.

Most of my files are VBR made in Music Match and the time jumps like crazy. This is why when taking the player out of pause, i didn't think the clock jumping a few seconds was odd. I though it was just some other way of calculating where you were in the song/playlist/player.

Also, I may have been confused by photos of people using the clock overlay hack on 2.0 (i think someone posted a pic with the clock in the lower left). Now the issue is over AM/PM which I assume is a known bug since I cannot get it go to 12 hour format.

Thanks for your help. I feel kind-of dumb.

Right. The 24hr thing and the pause are known bugs in the clock.
