So I was installing this thing. I only need 3 wires - or so I think. Ignition sense (Orange) Memory (Yellow) and Ground (Black) I attached the ground to the metal of the car, the Yellow to my headunit's yellow (whichis also labeled "memory") and the ignition sense to a red whire that get 12v when the key is in "accessory" or "on" position.

What I did was this: After hooking it up and testing it unmounted, I put my dahs back together. I turned to acc'y mode, everything starts up, then I turn it off I waited about 1 second and turned it back on again. The blue light faded in for a second and then nothing... I inspected everything (all connections were good) and found the fuse had blown. Is there something I did wrong? Do empegs have problems with fast turn-on -> turn-off -> turn ons?

Many thanks in advance!

Well I got a new fuse, but I'm not going to try a quick turn off-on again.

Everything is kosher now.

I'm not sure what the problem was, but as far as i know, there haven't been any reported issues with quick turn on and offs.
