I'm sure this is a dumb quesiton but...

i'm trying to get the empeg running on a compuer with WinME and i can't seem to get it to load the drivers. It recognizes it when i connect it, but where do i get the drivers Emplode/Jemplode won't recognize it.

Probably not a lot of help, but after I installed Emplode, and then switched on the Rio, it found the player instantly. Thats with Windows Me and USB connection.

Did you follow the install instructions correctly? Don't switch on the unit until you install emplode.

And did you install the correct version of Emplode? The same as in the player?

yeah, i'm using the right version of software. When i plugged in the usb, it says windows has found Rio Car and is looking for drivers, but then it goes no further because it can't find the .inf.

Mmmh... does it say what file its looking for? Or just an .inf?

Visuvius, you did it backwards.

You must install Emplode first, before connecting the Rio Car player to the USB port. Then it all works automatically. Do not connect the car player to the USB port until after Emplode is properly installed.
