and if only it weren't so danged ugly!

Oh, Patrick does have a solution for mounting an empeg in the boot (trunk) and having it display on a video display, but it is rather (make that very very) expensive, and the rights to the design still belong to the customer he built it for. Is a possibility for the future though for these cars that all have big LCD displays and no places for our empegs.

Yeah, it is a bit ugly. I don't care for the looks, but it's the whole idea of the car running off of linux

Course getting hacked while doing 80mph on the highway would suck.

No kidding. This whole retro classic design is getting old. A plastic car will never have the looks or style of the origional steel tank of the fifties, so why do the car makers continue to try?
