If it's not too much trouble or classified, would it be at all possible to let us know how many of the deferred clients accepted their invitations.

I'd also be quite interested in the kind of production rate you are getting. Perhaps the admins of the developer site could bring back that neat thing which told you when you could expect to recieve your unit based on your reg number. (I tell you now I'd be checking it every day )

If no to either of these, that's okay. I'll keep quiet

As I take a look at the speed of invitations going out and remembering that rob said that this week 50 units are going to ship and the next weeks 200 units each week I think there are two points possible:

1. There were not too much deferred orders
2. or Rob didn't receive too many orders till now so that he can continue processing the queue

I'm deferred with Reg#948. I've ordered one. If I get it next week I'll let you know than you can see that the first 1000 queue#s are covered with 200 Mk2's. Or even more.

I also think that many of the low Reg#s don't have any thoughts on the empeg player any more 'cause it's been a too long time they haven't seen a light to get one. But I could be wrong at that, too. I was always patient and maybe many others, too.

Reg#948 - already ordered a Mk2.

We're shipping 25 units per day until next Friday, and then we'll take a decision on increasing that. Even at that rate, we'll have shipped as many Mk.2 players in a fortnight as we shipped Mk.1 players in six months.

Production is definitely coming together now!

Hey! That's great!

Good news to all in waiting! In fact, I suppose you could say I'm "waiting to exhale", although I hope you don't

We've already had at least two company dinners in the last month to celebrate something or other, not sure what, but I'd guess that the first Mk.2 shipping was one of them :)

We've got a company karting event coming up soon to celebrate the completion of a major OEM project, I'll be sure to take a camera.
