SE_Sport_Driver carpal tunnel Registered: 05/01/2001 Posts: 4903 Loc: Detroit, MI USA	Since the other CES thread got WAY off-topic, I thought I'd post a finding here.. I went to mp3.com (where I found out about the empeg) to see if they had any mp3 coverage from the CES and found this. It mentions hard drive based units from Sony and Pioneer that allow you to rip music onto the hard drive from a built-in CD drive. They are encoded in ATRAC 3 from Sony's MD. Also, it made me greatful that Rio picked up empeg because now empeg can concentrate on product and support rather than marketing against Sony.
