First thing, of course, I wish a Merry Christmas for everyone.
Then, my story: I go to Santiago to spend one of those typical all-big-family Christmas. I take my notebook of course. Then we get to my aunt's (a very old fashioned, no-computers lady) flat and she tells me "no way you're gonna plug again that thing to my phone".
So I get out of touch for four days and I miss the biggest thing that happened here after of course, the Mk2.
I would've liked to buy at least two 10 gb ones. Well, one 20 gb and plenty of accessories will do.
So, after participating for years here (ok, i don't post that much, because I never had the cash for buying one before), I will get one. I'm very very excited. Probably the first Empeg in Latin America, am I right?
Now a question: why all those "order confirmations"? can't they be as smooth as, say, Amazon?

Congratulations! Sorry to hear you missed the model you wanted, but larger capacity models are better deal, anyway. I in effect upgraded my 18GB model by ordering a 60GB one.

Since you are ordering from international store where empeg guys rule, rest assured: once you reach 'This is your order receipt' page, the player is as good as at your doorsteps. Granted, their e-shop does not generate confirmation e-mails, but it has a much better feature: personal attention from guys@empeg.

Er, actually I used the U.S. E-store, because I do have a P.O. box in Florida. Indeed, the tuner module is already awaiting there for the Rio Car to join it.
I just hope everything goes right. Would be very unpleasant if not; I don't think there'll be another chance. Should've dropped by that cyber cafe in Santiago. Four days offline and everything gets difficult . *Sigh*
