Has anyone been able to speak to a customer service at Sonicblue?? Everytime I call I always get that damned "All lines busy" and then I am promptly disconnected...

*Sigh* It's been getting very frustrating not knowing whether I was able to get a unit or not...

Same here, I wonder if they're still on vacation or they forgot to turn the phones on? I wonder how responsive the email is ...

Pretend like you have a rotary phone and don't press any numbers when you connect.

and the phone system there is acting up and going in circles from menu to menu, or it might inform you the support queue is full.

they are open.. it sounded like thier computer system was acting up (to check the status of orders etc).. the one person i talked to said it had been a BUSY day.. it took me a while to get through.. she said they had tons of stock on the rio car's though (which seemed odd).. my player should be shipping (ordered dec 29th) according to what i was told over the phone..

hope this helps

Well I just got off the phone with a very helpfull and friendly CSR named Steve Church.. he basically retook down all my information (order # and the models that I wanted) and said he would forward it to another department that was handling the Car Rio Orders.

He did say all the units are out of stock, but he assured me that since I was able to succesfully place my order online that I would recieve a unit (which doesn't really make much sense to me since people were reporting that you could still order units even though it was showing "Out of Stock").

Anyways my fingers are crossed and I hope that I will be recieving my CarRio soon...

Same here! Hope and pray :) I can't express how happy i will be when/if my riocar arrives. On a side note, I'm hoping to start working on a gps nav system. I've got ideas of how i might go about this, I'll post my thoughts a bit later in an appropriate forum
