I know it's in the FAQ's but I cannot find it. I want to remove songs from the Rio to my Pc hardrive. I think beta 11 software allows you to do this. Could someone point me where to look?

Using the Emplode 2.0 beta 11 software, right click on any song or playlist and select Download.

Hi, does that totally remove the song or just send a copy to the destination file.

It just downloads it to your computer. You could then go and delete it after that, but I'm not aware of any way to do that all in one step. Might be a good suggestion for jEmplode, though. But it might lead to accidental deletions, so maybe not.

It just downloads the song or playlist in question. If you wish it deleted, press the Delete key after the download is complete (highlighted item will be deleted when the delete key is pressed). You will have to answer more prompts and then synch.

Downloading songs from the Rio seems faster than uploading them. It works like a charm. I was able to copy complete folders with many sub-folders inside without any problems.
