I was going thru some old boxes from E3 and found a Mood Logic disc that I picked up from Rio/Sonic Blue. Has anyone used this before? It claims to automatically:1. create instant playlists. 2. Clean ID3 tags. 3. Organize your MP3's. 4. Discover new music. Its the Rio Edition. The Easy way to manage your MP3's.

I would really like to try it out, but the "Free" version doesn't enable enough features or enough of my music collection to make it worth my while. I tried messing with it and gave up.

Yep, I use it all the time. Doesn't seem to have much adoption on this board however...

Ok great. I think I have the complete program on this disc, so I'm going to give it a try. Thanks

I tried the demo version of it but I was not very impressed with it. They shouldn't restrict the demo - and instead put a timer or maybe 20 uses on it before having to pay. Therefore, I could test how well it could categorize my music. Even the categories that the demo supported, it didn't do a very convincing job.

Have they changed it since I used it?

Moodlogic when I tried it gave you a certain number of free credits and after you've used them up, you could either buy more or earn yourself them by categorising anything it didn't know about.

In the end I gave up on it because it was taking a very long time to analyse the tracks and some of the suggestions were rather odd.
