Tom is either the owner, manager or someone there who actually has a clue about his patrons. He will recognize the reference to "the empeg team", will bill your credit card for the proper amount, and will make sure they get the credit.

Like I said, distracted today... It happens...

But it does show how insane the empeg community can be - if multiple people know the local (not to them) pub owner by name and call in international credit card payments for thai food and beer...

Perhaps Tony could make this an FAQ entry

I asked about that at one point, but Tony did not want to. If I remember correctly, it was either a matter of:

a) blatent commercialism and requests for bribes being made semi-official
b) not wanting to blast Tom's name and phone number in other web places
c) some other reason that I do not remember at the moment.

I am sure we will know soon. I know there was a thread about this, long ago. Searching...
