hi,
I need to enter id3 tags for about 20-30 CDs by hand. Does anyone know of an mp3 editor that either has source available or a plug-in architecture so that I can insert a speech-recognition module into it ?
thanks

Ahem, you don't actually believe it would be easier to integrate reliable free-text voice recognition software into ID3 tagger than tag 30 CDs manually, do you?

However, should you be willing to undertake this valiant effort anyway (and prefferably share the result with us ), you could start with id3lib which, apart from being available in source, includes sample tagging application.

Good luck!

ease is not the point, obviously :) it gives me an interesting project to do.
Perhaps i'll just write something that will format information for CDDB. Good enough for my current needs.
