(this is absolutely useless to everyone, but)

Sold my 12GB MK2 just over a month ago and I am regretting it. You don't appreciate what you had until its gone.

New car (S2000) -- at the time I didn't think it was worth it to hack into it to fit the empeg, esp. with the proprietary fingertip controls adjacent to the steering wheel. Have made two burns since then and was tired of them within days.

I have no central repository for my music anymore.

Had a Tragically Hip fan in my car the other day, and we were discussing the changes in the band over time, and to corroborate a point, I reached out to flip to a specific track on my empeg, and it wasn't there.

So, my MK2 is in my boss' Porsche and he won't sell it back, that is, until an MK3 is released.

Bottom line -- think twice before selling your empeg.

You should probably change your tagline now... ;)

And I thought someone was working on a module to interface with the S2000 fingertip controls... I could be wrong. I was planning on doing it if I had bought one, but I'm too damn tall to fit into it. ;p

Hmm, Jeep to S2000, now that would be a bit of a change...

The tuner has a Sony stalk controller interface, and third party Sony to OEM Control interfaces are available for a wide array of vehicles. I know there's an S2000 version, because the manufacturer came to see us at CES.

Well, it wouldn't be a direct Jeep to S2000 conversion... I'd keep both of them. ;)

Makes perfect sense to me (I own a jeep), S2000 for nice smooth roads and Jeep for anything and everything else :-)

Rob, how tight was the fit to get the tuner into the S2000? I thought it was already pretty tight after just putting the sled in.

We've not fitted one to the S2000, but the tuner comes with an extension cable so it doesn't need to fit directly next to the dash slot.
