I have had (knock on wood) nothing but good luck with my RIO unit. Up to now, I have been transfering files via USB. I do have a Realtek RTL8029 (AS) ethernet card installed and cable (RJ45 Crossover) running windows 98SE. I currently have no network installed at all. Now my questions begin...
When I go into the network settings and click on properties (TCP/IP) of the afformentioned card, it is asking for an IP address and a subnet mask, under the gateway tab, it is asking for the gateway address. Basically, I have NO idea what to put in any of these areas. Could somebody walk me thru what I need to set up in emplode (ver 1.03) and in windows. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
