That might explain the jocks vs. nerds thing in high school.

I dunno, I thought some geeks reeked of sweat. just usually several days old

Uh.... oh, yeah. Well, there goes that theory, then.

I read about a related study that found 12 unique classifications of male sweat. This study used dirty t-shirts worn by men while exercising. They found that each female participant consistently found only 2-3 types of sweat pleasant. The study indicated that there was a distribution of women across the types. It was admittedly a limited sample and didn’t speculate what the % distribution of women to attraction types, or % men across the 12 types. There was also a strong coloration to responding to the same type as the woman’s father. Maybe you are genetically programmed to find you mate?


I don’t remember where I read it, but it defiantly was in print and not the net. I did a quick search anyway and could not find it. I don’t tend to read any of the checkout isle stuff, so it was more than likely a more reliable source.

I don't think this strange at all, I understand completely and find it relaxing and comforting myself (not your armpit though, no offense)
