I assume under Windows?

Use the Apple LaserWriter IIg. You may also want to check in the advanced options for the driver and find the option that turns on rectified postscript (I forget what it's called, and the place for the option seems to be different in each version of Windows). That will make it so that programs (like GSView, for example) can deal with them more easily.

I use that setup fairly often.

Indeed, basically every printer I set up in Windows ends up being a LaserWriter IIg, because I have Windows printing to some external spooler that translates to native format as needed.

Of course, I also have (and use) a LaserWriter IIg as my primary printer!
