I'm trying to find any possible way to delay a videos audio track by between 2-4 seconds.

I figured the easiest way would be to find some software that delayed all windows audio, and i could just disable that software after i watched the video. Any Ideas?

i ended up playing the audio track in winamp, and the video track in divx player.

I've also had trouble playing Divx videos and getting the audio to synch up properly.

My solution is to play the video in Windows Media Player with the Divx Codec installed, and not bother with the Divx player application. Works fine.

Actually, it’s an xvid codec, and only the divx player will play any movies encoded with xvid. windows media player, and winamp both show the video, but the picture is mostly green, and very pixilated

you dont have the right codec(s). download the kazaalite codec pack here. handy all-in-one codec package

Agreed. I watch XviD stuff in WMP all the time. I have an app called AVICodec that tells what a video is encoded with and then gives a link to the codec. Very handy.

ive a couple solutions. well, one solution really, and one if-it-fits-you.
use xbmp (provided you have a modded xbox). it allows you to offset the audio in realtime, if the audio continues to get more and more out of synch you just keep adjusting. a really great feature.
the other - i watched a video the other day and needed an ac3 codec. i cant remember where i found the one i got, but in its properties i can set an audio offset. of course, this only applies to videos with an ac3 audio track.

That link is dead. Do you have the installer file and would you be willing to share it?
