One of my students, Dan Sandler, is working on a p2p sharing gizmo for RSS feeds. The general idea is that you run a proxy server, on your own system, that networks with other proxy servers out there to get you your RSS feeds faster. Dan needs beta testers and his code is far enough along that you should feel relatively comfortable using it. It's all built in Java, so it runs just about anywhere.
