I know we've had a large number of headphone-related threads over the years, and I've been reading all of them over, but the focus tends to be on audiophile solutions, with a consensus recommendation on the in-ear earplug variety (made variously by Sony, Sennheiser, and Etymotic). There have also been several honorable mentions for Grado Labs.

What I'm looking for, and which I haven't seen much discussion of, are headphones appropriate for jogging and/or working out. That means sound quality takes second fiddle ot other issues, like sweat and things tugging on your ears. I've got my default iPod headphones, which are vaguely okay, but you still get some snapping of the cord on your ears as you're running along. I'm curious if this gets any better with any of the headband models or clip-around-the-ear models? There's such a large variety and no obvious way to figure out what's better or worse than anything else.

Thoughts?
