Ah, I may have been confusing the two devices. The version 2 thing might be with that one. It's stange that the experiences were so split like that. But anyway, all I know is that I've had absolutely no trouble with it. The power has gone out several times in my parents' house, and every time the network comes back online without us doing anything at all!
