hmm... Ive been thinking about how much effective bitrate you need with PCM to be able to fully capture the sinewave between 20-20 000Hz. Since the maximum degree of the input PCM only can be 45(degrees).
So with a output frequency of maximum 20KHz then the PCM is coded at aproximatly 40KHz that would mean that the maximum output degree would be 60(degrees)?

hmm.... where was i going with this? ..... I think i´ve just answered my own question when i had to think about it. First i thought that why use a higher bitrate when PCM only can fallow the analog wave of maximum 45degrees. What i didnt realise is that it only fallows that rule when the bitrate is the same as the analog frequency. Damn.... sometimes youre just stupid until you sit down and think som things through....
