I've actually thought about doing this. I have a bit of experience polishing metals and could certainly tackle the project. The problem is, it would obliterate the labeling on the case. Also, if the unit were to be docked, it would show long horizontal scratches almost immediately. Not sure it's worth all the minuses given the time involved. If someone wants me to try on theirs I could do it for a price .
