I have one of those cards and it works well until it gets too hot, then it quits. I think this is really a design flaw in the Compaq notebook I have (17XL360). The morons put the PCMCIA slot adjacent to the processor. When the wireless card quits working, I pull it out and it too hot to handle for more than a couple seconds at a time.
