The other main bonus is boot speed - sooo much faster than 2000.

Good point. I will give you that, XP does boot quicker than any of the other OS's on that test box, with the exception of MS-DOS.

I HATE users who don't upgrade to the latest stuff, and make our development/support requirements a total nightmare

May I remind you that Emplode still does not work properly under Windows XP.
