Don't they have 200-disc CD changers now?

Of course, even if they had an in-car version of one of those (I don't know if they do), it wouldn't be able to shuffle with the kind of speed that the Empeg does, and it wouldn't have the neat user interface, or the visuals, or the search functions, or the expandability, or the parametric EQ, or the pull-out security, or... (I could go on and on.)
