This is typical... I've finally got around to upgrading my Tivo with a bigger HD and a TurboNet card. And then I find I don't have enough patch cables to plug it in.

Finally get another one and then my satelite receiver decides to die! It powers up but the part which accesses the smart card seems to have let out it's magic smoke. The entire box has a slight burnt eletrical component smell.

So now I've got to wait until Thursday until the engineer can come out and swap out the digibox. And hopefully the smart card hasn't been fried in the process. If so then I'll have to wait another 3-4 days for a replacement smart card...

Argh!
