due to two factors, i haven't been able to comment on this until now.

1. i hate heat. love the cold.
2. here in the philly area, it has been pretty warm and very humid for the past few weeks.

i did have the top down a bit this afternoon, and there was direct sunlight on the face. it was pretty washed out, but i still could make out the text on the screen. on the whole though, i am much more impressed with the display than i thought i would be. my pioneer is impossible to read during most of the day, and i thought the empeg would be just as bad, but it really has surprised me.
