The weird thing I have noticed about both Disco owners (and Land Rover owners in general come to think of it), is that they will have sorts of problems with the things and then turn around and happily get another one!
Having done this myself, I can vouch for the feeling, but it is still strange.
I'll bet you will get another after this as well.

Does this happen with any other vehicles, other than maybe a Morgan
