Hey everyone...
I have to state publicly that the Parametric EQ feature in 9b is insanely cool. Up until this release, 4-channel mode on my car stereo was only barely viable due to the strange way I'd set up my system- five bands per channel didn't seem like enough. Now that all of those bands are parametric, I can do more with those five bands than I could have done with ten, or twenty, or fifty.
Although I haven't done a lot of testing on it yet, the synchs seem a lot more stable to me. I encourage everyone to try 9b and do some synchronizations.
There is a new "search by source" (at least I think it's new in this version) where you can now search for an album title.
Also, finally having the search results sorted alphabetically is great. One thing that I didn't understand (until Mike explained it to me) was how the number keys on the remote control work when you're in search mode. When you hit the "8" key, it lists all the titles starting with "T". But when you hit "8" again, it does not give you the "U"s or the "V". It works differently than that. Each letter you hit is a letter in the word you want to spell out. For example, to search for "Rush", you would press "7874". Mike's example was "Abba": You would press "2222". Of course, if you did that in my car, I'd then be required to kill you...

Oh, and the new visualizations that Hugo hinted at aren't in there yet, in case anyone was wondering.
Kudos to the Empeg guys for a great software release!
