There was an empeg product before SonicBlue came around, and, more than likely, there will continue to be an empeg team (and products coming from them) after SonicBlue sells them off. If you read any of the news, you'd find that they're looking to sell off their assets to other companies... Wait for an official announcement from Rob or someone else from Cambridge before going crazy here.
