Yep, Paul is the leader in all of this. The BRAVE leader I might add. We dno't even know if these new drives will draw too much power or when the empeg software will be ready for it.
I've got ~108GB capacity in my emepg (48 + 60GB) but as was pointed out, emplode only shows 100GB available. I've got about 100 or so CD's sitting on my hard drive waiting to be added. Another 60GB will "just barely" get me there, so I'm waiting for the 80's to come out so I have room to grow.
My only advice is: Don't buy capacity until you need it because hard drive prices are dropping all the time. Sounds to me like you need the extra space, so that may not be an issue w. you. Normally, I'd tell you to get a 40 or 48GB so that you're not buying capacity you don't need - but 60GB drives are fairly cheap now. Search
