That probably isn't of much concern to most people that would want to access an open source project

There are some of us out here who support open source but have no choice but to use Microsoft platforms on occasions (for "on occasion" replace with "at work").

I'm afraid the painful truth is that IE5.5 is the most complete and stable browser in the Windows platform (didn't think I'd ever say that in the days of IE2 vs Netscape).
