warning: flagrant abuse of bbs ahead!

I’ve been telling a co-worker about all the cool stuff I learn about/ find here, and last night he called me wanting me to pose a question on his behalf. I suppose that’s what comes with being one of the best resources on the net!

Anyway, he wants to move all his VHS tapes to hard drives and is wondering what the best way is to do it. He says he’s done some investigation, but would like to know what tech savvy people have to say about the process. If anyone has any experience with this or advice that I could give him, please let me know.
