Well, I like to touch my laptop before purchasing. I'm on my second Sony and I just bought one for my wife about eight months ago and at the time I couldn't find anything close to the $1,500.00 price tag being 2ghz 40GB HD, 256MB ram, built in fire wire, built in 10/100, DVD/CDRW etc.... I'm not sure of the exact model but it's very nice; I'll have to check later.
