It would probably be in a disk file somewhere, not in flash memory. And I wouldn't guarantee it'd be in the same file format as the bootup images.

You could theoretically reverse-engineer the file and the format, then use a binary editor to put your own image into the file. Good luck figuring that out, you'd probably be the first to try.

Or you could wait until they release a plug-in architecture for the visuals and then you could write your own image-shower visualization.
