Sweden is using a different font now for their plates now

Yeah, we've had a bunch of different variants over the last, oh maybe, 8-10 years...
Hmmm, some googling revealed that it was actually in already back in '84 the plastic plates were introduced... time flies...

Those I remember: original (as in had for quite a time) had a medium fat (compared to those who followed) font with pressed/raised numbers - made of metal. Then I think we went to a somewhat blockier/squarer font and with the characters printed on (couple of machine washes and they would be rubbed clean) plastic.
After that we got a fversion with the characters protected by a top layer of plastic. Then we got the slimmer font ones (start of 2002), and again of metal (aluminium), and the last ones have the slim font + the EU thingy.
