I much rather hear the music as if it were in front of me as opposed to if you were at a concert with your back to the stage or sitting in a box full of speakers.

Depending on the kind of car you drive I recomend ditching your back speakers then. If you drive a 2 door veichle then you won't have people in the back very often and even when they are back there they will be able to hear your fronts fine. I said as much in this post.

Your exactly right, music should sound as though it is coming from in front of you. Any back speakers only distroy that effect. If, on the other hand, you drive a large sedan or SUV and regularly have people in the back, then they might appreciate speakers back there for them to listen to. It all depends on what you drive.
