I used to have a UK TiVo and it drove me nuts - constantly changing the Sky channel to record things that it thought I might be interested in, even though I was already watching something.

So I sold it and bought Sky+ and haven't looked back. It is so well integrated with the Sky EPG and works really well. I rarely watch "live" TV any more - it really does change your viewing habbits. I rarely watch adverts now either
