Just wondering if there a way to set the unit up to require a code for operation.There was a very long thread discussing this idea a couple months ago. The biggest problem with doing it is that Empeg's customer support would have to triple its staff to cover all of the "I lost my PIN" calls. And in the end, it wouldn't prevent the Empeg from being stolen, it would just prevent the thief from enjoying it.
The best security is what's already built-in to the Empeg design: Pull it out of the car and take it with you.
