Cold molding is pretty easy to do.
We make up parts (for boats) using a vacuum bagging technique and E-glass or carbon fiber and West Epoxy.

Youll need a vacuum pump that can pull about 10" of vacuum. Kits occasionally appear on Ebay for this exact purpose or you can build your own with PVC pipe, beverage tubing and a small pump.
Make sure you make it pressure adjustable though, and you might want to add a manifold that you can fill with cotton batting to catch any epoxy that the tubes might suck up so you dont wreck your pump (not that I've ever done that).

We buy carbon fiber in bulk but I'm not sure where from right now, I could find out tomorrow.
