Does the other person have some sort of ad blocking software installed like ZoneAlarm?

I'll bet that is it.. i think they do.

How would i get round it ?

My image names are

/images/thumbs/group/001.jpg
/images/thumbs/group/002.jpg

etc .... some work for him, some don't.
