Heh - was at an SIDC Knockhill trackday where a ferrari went out and failed to complete one lap - he overcooked it through the hairpin and spun out. Minimal damage. He went off and got his Lotus 340(?) and used that for the rest of the day.

Unfortunately this weekend I am unlikely to make it - was up watching the TVR Tuscan racing the other day, and with the kids it is tricky to get many days out, but if I do, I will come and say hi. I do love the 7, although I'm not that good at driving them.

last time we went off for a day at Bedford Autodrome, the Caterhams were the first car of the day (followed by Evo 7, VX220turbo, Jaguar JP1, go-kart, offroaders, Clio Club and Formula Palmer Audi) and I scored very badly as I managed to spin 6 times in 2 laps. Mostly as I was still driving a bit like a Subaru, so accelerating very hard just before the apex - this doesn't work too well in a 7

Did much better in the Evo, Clio and single seater, and even won the day prize in the go-karts.

In fact, we are probably doing another in the autumn - cost about £700ish for a FULL day's driving. Interested?
