Here is an email response that I had from Nick Caddick the SonicBlue Marketing Director, regards the Rio Receiver in the UK:

"Hi Paul

My sincere apologies for not getting back to you sooner but there has been
huge debate about getting the Receivers into the UK. Just to update you, we
have now shipped a number of units into the UK, which are US specified. (All
that means is they have a different power cable and they are in US
packaging). We are selling the products here in small 'trial' numbers
directly.

Current price is 199 BPS.

further information please feel free to contact me.... I will endeavour to
respond a hell of a lot quicker!

He's since told me that they are still US spec, but have UK power cables.

I imagine that they are now also available from the UK e-store and should be available right now.
